Llamas and goats and ducks, oh my!

We all know that petting zoos are awesome. What you may not know is that they are a lot of work!

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic animal lovers to take care of our pets and their visitors throughout the season. This position includes petting, hugging, brushing and loving a variety of animals. But it also means scooping manure, interacting with the public, maintaining a safe and happy environment for the animals and park guests, and working hard for them each day, sometimes in hot, cold or rainy weather.

Previous experience working with livestock is preferred, but we will provide training to anyone willing to work hard and get their hands dirty.

Schedule

Ideal candidates are seeking part-time (2-3 days per week) or full-time (4-5 days per week) hours and have some flexibility in their schedule. Weekend hours will be required of most new hires. 

Shifts fluctuate between 7 and 9 hours per day, and vary in start and end time, but are always between the hours of 11am and 8:30pm.

Must be available May 21-September 7, 2026.

Requirements

We are looking for the best! Our image is extremely important to us. All Honey Hill Farm team-members must be clean-cut, enthusiastic, competent, extremely reliable, and able to pass a background check.

Other requirements include:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• A love of animals and people
• Reliability a must (park has very small crew and the animals must get their care no matter what).
• The ability to be on time and ready to give 100% everyday
• Previous experience with livestock or equines, or a willingness to jump in and learn quickly
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A friendly and outgoing disposition
• Excellent judgement, with the ability to adapt to different circumstances
• The ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
• The ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• A commitment to quality customer service and animal care
• Willingness to adhere to Honey Hill Farm’s and the amusement park’s rules and requirements for attire and conduct
• A commitment to work through the entire season (some exceptions available to students).
