New in 2026: 10 animal petting zoo now comes with two awesome sheep, but no alpaca. Larger zoos remain unchanged.
After careful consideration of our commitment to animal welfare, we’ve made a change to our traditional 10 animal petting zoo. The package will now include two sheep, in place of what was previously one sheep and one alpaca. All other animals will remain the same.
We made this change because we believe (and animal science backs up) that both sheep and alpacas are their happiest and most calm when in the presence of at least one companion of their species.
Furthermore, llamas and alpacas are amazing animals who require care above and beyond what’s needed by more traditional farm animals. As such, they will be available as special add-ons in groups of two, and will continue to come standard (in pairs) in our 20 and 30 animal petting zoos.
Thank you for understanding that the best way to enjoy animals is when they are most comfortable!
