About Honey Hill Farm

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable event assistants who will help us provide high quality animal interaction to the public. Honey Hill Farm is a family company, serving events in Kentucky and Ohio. We provide pony rides and petting zoos to birthday parties and events at schools, churches, senior centers, libraries and other organizations. Our goal is to be the highest quality animal entertainment providers in the country.

Job Description

Help us set up events, take care of the animals and keep children safe.

Event assistants meet up with our team at the event site or a different location and help with setup, caring for the animals, interacting with the public and cleanup. This could include supervising the petting zoo area, picking up animals for children to pet, handing out grain so children can feed the animals, leading ponies, cleaning up animal waste, setting up and breaking down pens, decorations, tents, etc.

We cover a large geographical area, but event assistants usually work in the region where they live. Event schedules fluctuate, with some months being busier than others (September and October are BUSY!).
