Living Nativities

Living Nativities feature 8 animals, including sheep, goats, a donkey, a cow and an alpaca. Your live nativity can be as elaborate or as simple as you would like. Some event hosts build complex backdrops and feature live actors in their nativities, while others just include the animals in a display area for their guests to pet and feed.

Most of the time, the animals are kept in a display pen. However, you may choose to allow a few of them (or all of them when possible) to be led around or held on leads by the nativity actors. They will not stand perfectly still but a little hay to munch on goes a long way towards getting them to cooperate (we will provide it).

The nativity animals only require about 12×12 ft, even with a small area for guests to walk around. But additional animals can be added and you can adapt the setup to meet your needs.

Add a camel

Camels are available on a limited basis during the Christmas season. They can be added to any live nativity for an additional fee and will require extra space. Camel rides are not available and camels cannot come indoors or be led by non-staff members.
